PANIGsahan :>

Whatever happened to rest day Sundays. I have been doing school-related stuff during Sundays recently. Not only are they acad-related, they are also physically and mentally taxing and tiring. Buuuuut, despite being physically draining. they have also proved to be a lot of fun.

I just kind of woke up from PANIGsahan, otherwise known as Amazing Race. This is a requirement for my Hum II class. For participating in this event, we get bonus points for our Final exam-the number of bonus points depends on how many points we earn in winning a certain task over the course of the marathon.

Anywaaaay, as I have said, today as super fun. I didn't expect it to be this awesome. First of all, we had to be in UP Diliman by 8:00 in the morning so that was a bummer. Fortunately though, Bia offered me a ride going there and going home. I love Bia. :)) She always offers me rides going to places or going home. The scheduled time was at 9:00 but our section decided that we should come early so we decided to meet at 8:00 but me and Bia got there at about 7:45. It's a wonder what no traffic can do. Imagine-we got to UPD from Paranaque in 45 minutes. Amazing. We were assigned the color Pink by the way. SO TFA was PINK team :>

The PANIGsahan proper was absolutely tiring. Hahaha. Our professor, Sir Redillas, made us run all over the place. We were given a shredded piece of paper which we had to rebuild and all the destinations and questions and tasks were written there. He made us run all over the University. I ran to places I didn't know existed in the University. What the fuck, even. :))

People were really competitive-especially our section. People ran all over the place. The race was even more tiring than our FPF PE. Hahaha. Some people from our section (TFA) were trash-talkers, lol. I didn't know if I should laugh or be annoyed. I don't even remember the sequence of the tasks anymore. We were asked to find this statue and that statue and various other landmarks I don't remember. Whoah, it feels like I just woke up from a hangover. Everything is really blurry. Hahaha.

Anyway, we were asked to recite something in a speech choir-y way, we were asked to do a clay model of the Rizal statue in Palma hall, we needed to draw something (I don't remember, the fuck), we needed to imitate the sundial, like making a human sundial of some sort. We needed to take pictures individually beside an Andres Bonifacio statue and give a fierce look, we had to solve riddles, we had to take a group jumpshot and individual jumpshots. Aaaand, I maybe forgetting stuff, but yeah.

So the last thing that we were supposed to do was to make a song and dance number about the things we learned in Hum II so far. In order to do this presentation, TFA sacrificed the rest and lunch time allotted to us. And in turn, we ended up doing something amazing-but we'll get to that later. Hahaha. Me and about 5 other girls we dubbed thee as Shawarma girls. God knows why it was called Shawarma Girls but I do not. :))) We sang first and we danced first. In Tagalog, unang una kami napahiya.

So we did best in the performance. Sir said it looked like we have practiced it for two days already but yeah. It was done on the day itself. Awesome, righht? I so love my section. Our leader said: Mapapahiya na din naman tayo eh, ilubos lubos na namin. Which was what we did, entirely. Wala nang hiya hiya. Social suicide at its best.

It was so much fun. WE won the performance bit of the marathon. PLUS, we won the entire marathon! We got a total of 42 points out of a possible 50! TFA is the best. Hihihi. I have so much love for my section right now. The most amazing thing about PANIGsahan is that we got to bond with the entire class-our section became closer and all :> OF COURSE: 42 bonus points in the Final Exam? What the-- :))) Awesome day is awesome :>

Said Shawarma Girls (without me :|)
